Dear {Contact_First_Name} {Contact_Last_Name},

Albuquerque is the starting point for so many theatre talents whose careers take them far away from the Duke City.   One of these actors, Sabina Zuniga Varela, will be home for the holidays and happy to share her journey with ATG/TLC members.

Sabina was born and raised in New Mexico, attended UNM and was active in theatre here while teaching at Washington Middle School.  She was a founding member of Teatro Nuevo México, and the Latina theatre troupe Las Meganenas.  In 2007 she received Best Female Performer of the Year award from the NM Hispano Entertainers Association for her portrayal of Frida Kahlo in Camino Real Productions' Still Life at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

Sabina  moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to earn her MFA in Acting at the University of Southern California. Her career journey from then on is an amazing one and she has agreed to share with ATG and Theatre Lovers Community members what it's like to travel a professional actor's career path.
