Director James Cady invites TLC members to a first-act rehearsal of The Philadelphia Story, and – a special treat! -- an exclusive talk for TLC members by preeminent director James Cady on how a director works with actors.

The Philadelphia Story will be performed at the Vortex Theatre February 19 to March 13. Tickets:

See the play that re-launched Katharine Hepburn's career! The play, a great success on Broadway, was Hepburn's first great triumph after a number of Hollywood failures gave her a "box office poison" reputation. The Philadelphia Story tells the story of spoiled, headstrong socialite Tracy Lord who is about to marry a rising young social snob. Complicating this marriage is the appearance of her ex, C.K. Dexter Haven, and the arrival of a journalist and photographer on the scene of her high society wedding. In Philadelphia, the Lords are a wealthy and privileged family of quirky yet endearing characters. This highly entertaining play will delight audiences of all ages. (
