LOCATION CHANGE: This program is now at the Vortex Theatre, 2900 Carlisle NE.

Mother Road Theatre Company and the Vortex Theatre are co-producing a wonderful holiday show, All is Calm, the Christmas Truce of 1914. It will be performed at the Vortex Theatre (2900 Carlisle Blvd NE) December 4-17 with extra performances on 12/10 & 12/17. Tickets: http://vortexabq.org/Reservations.php. (TLC members get in for $19.)

The Western Front, Christmas, 1914. Out of the violence a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.” Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, peace. A remarkable true story, told in the words and songs of the men who lived it.

TLC members have a special treat of attending a rehearsal of the show’s music. They are focusing on creating an ensemble voice. This is acapella; no instruments. They will be working on the intention behind the piece that carries through their hearts into the singing.

DATE:  Thursday, November 12

TIME:  6:30pm

LOCATION: Vortex Theatre, 2900 Carlisle NE, Albuquerque

TLC thanks the Mother Road Theatre Company, the Vortex Theatre, director Julia Thudium, and music director Lina Ramos for this special holiday treat.
